The two year education system which is also called HSSC (Higher secondary school certificate) plays a very important role in the development of the student and their future. The college has to be affiliated with the Board of the intermediate and secondary education, who is the certificate issuing body.

To confirm proper administration, the education ministry decided to develop a new board for the new jurisdiction. The areas covered by the BISE are called the jurisdiction and BISE DG Khan has Dera Ghazi Khan District, Muzaffargarh district, Layyah district and Rajanpur District in its jurisdiction.


The working of the board involves the registration for the examinations, sending out the date sheets and the roll number slips, allotting each candidate with roll number, allocation of centers of examinations, hiring of the invigilation staff, conduction of the examinations, result formation and declaration and issuance of the result card.

The intermediate gives the students a wide range of majors to choose from according to their interests. There are Pre Medical (for those who want to join medical profession in future), Pre Engineering (for those who want to be engineers), ICS (for those who want to study computer science at a higher level), ICom (for those who want to join commerce as their profession) and FA (for those who want to pursue humanities in higher studies). The exams are conducted every year for part 1 of intermediate and then for part 2 of intermediate.
